| Seta-no-Karahashi |
 This is one of the three historical and distinct bridges in Japan today. From ancient times it was a strategic point for military purposes, transportation, and was frequently destroyed by war. The beautiful scene which it offers at sunset has been a theme for artists and poets since olden times. Nearby there are boat regattas held annually and canoes and small boats often pass underneath. |
